Located in the Cellar Level of Andaz 5th Avenue, The Bar Downstairs & Kitchen is a neighborhood-centric restaurant and bar with an extensive cocktail menu. Indulge in seasonal dishes created with locally sourced ingredients and shareable plates. Executive Chef Christian Clark has designed a menu experience that offers guests an opportunity to indulge in some of his favorite foods, sourced from local farms and purveyors near New York City. Join us for dinner and drinks Tuesday through Saturday, or breakfast daily.

    Join us for a midday pick-me-up. The Bar Downstairs now serves Lunch, available Monday - Friday 11:00am - 2:00pm. 



    Happy Hour

    Join us for Happy Hour at The Bar Downstairs! Available Tuesday - Saturday from 4:00-6:00pm. Select from an expanded menu offering, including $15 martinis, and shareable dishes (like our lamb meatballs and fig flatbread). Our full Dinner menu (and snacks) will be available from 5pm. Come in for a nightcap and enjoy Late Night Happy Hour drinks Saturday and Sunday 9:00-11:00pm as well!
